By private transfer

A car collects you anywhere in Skopje, or at Skopje Airport when you land, and takes you to your hotel door in Ohrid or Struga. Stops are easy to add, and a coffee stop on the way is included.

As a day trip

Staying in Skopje? Ohrid works as a long day out: about three hours each way, around five hours to walk the old town and see the lake, and the driver waiting until you are ready to go back.

Worth a stop on the way

  • The Painted Mosque in Tetovo, about 40 minutes from Skopje.
  • Mavrovo National Park, a short detour from Gostivar.
  • Struga, where the Black Drin leaves the lake, fifteen minutes past Ohrid.
